I don’t know how I’m so busy – I’m retired! But there’s always something to do. A lot of it’s grocery shopping because when you cook with so much produce, fresh is always better, plus some stores have better looking berries, while others have better looking baggers! 😀 Here’s what I cooked this week:
- Creamy chicken & broccoli pasta (will be posting soon…)
- No knead crusty rolls
- Custard pudding
- Vegetable pizza + salad
- Chicken noodle soup
- Granola bars
- Almond butter
- Mini chocolate chip cookies (he still eats two!)
- Vegetable soup
- Vegetable fried rice with Asian salad
- Salmon patties & steamed vegetables (beets, carrots, Brussels sprouts & peppers)
- Crispy apple tart
- Taco salad
- Fall off the bone ribs
- Potato Salad
- Cole Slaw
- Strawberry cake
The last four items (ribs, sides & cake) were all for my husband’s birthday. ❤️ He is younger than I. He says I should try to get more people to find my recipes and I had an idea. I have lot of pans: baking pans, frying pans, pizza pans, round pans, square ones, sauté pans, sheet pans… I could broaden my horizons by borrowing another social media platform idea, but mine would be called OnlyPans! 😀 Thoughts?

I’m also really looking forward to teaching my children how to cook this way!
You can repurpose all of the content you’ve made and create lots of posts, women are always on there looking for recipes (instagram).
Hi, Jenny, I’m so glad I found your blog and recipes I am loving the posts and fun things you’re sharing but most of all the advice on eating at home, I went to my OB a week ago and she told me if I wanted to feel my best after having four babies almost back to back I needed to eat at home, move my body, and journal, I have been doing this for only a week and already feeling great, so your recipes are my new go to’s. To get more people to find your recipes have you considered getting on Instagram?
I barely have time to write down what I cook let alone take photos to post. I appreciate your idea but I’m happy with just keeping this website active.
I love your humor. It seems never ending!
It’s almost 89F here in WA and I’m baking a pumpkin pie with your crust recipe. I had to use a different filling cuz we are, you know..one of them plant eaters. lol
Love to be in the kitchen like you do.
LOL!! You are hilarious!
