For me, the only way to make bread pudding is to make the bread. So today, I made egg bread with poppy seeds, and about three hours later, it was bread pudding.
I don’t want to say it’s the best bread pudding on the planet… okay I do want to say it. “It’s the best bread pudding on the planet.”
Between my stepmom and me, it won’t last the night.

Wow! Bread pudding. I haven’t had that since I left the farm (almost 50 years ago). I have, however, made rice pudding, somehow similar. Now, how about sharing your recipe–since you have gone this far. You know we can neither taste nor smell it on the web page, so give us a little more! I can’t promise I will bake the bread, but I will make the pudding and let you know if it beats the old English Bacon-family recipe that my mother used to use!

You mean pudding isn’t a dust in a small blue box that you add cold milk to?? AND you can actually BAKE bread?? Shazam!!!!
