I love Chinese food but everything I like is batter fried! So I finally mastered my own recipe for Orange Sesame Chicken that is healthy, crazy good, and it cooks in less than ten minutes! You’ll need a couple of not-so-common ingredients like toasted sesame oil but this dish is so worth it. If you can’t find the toasted sesame oil or toasted sesame seeds, try the Asian section of your market, Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s. It took me about ten tries to get it just right and now I have to share it. I hope you don’t like leftovers because there won’t be any! Click here for the recipe. – Jenny Jones
Update for Kya. Her vet put her on antibiotics again but that’s not her worst problem…He said she has to lose 8-10 lbs!! No woman wants to hear that!! 🙂 🙂
While lime disease affects their joints, a little less juice in the caboose will help her even more. We will get her through this again.
Thank you for your concern.

I’m passing over my Weight Watcher’s card to Kya. NO woman wants to hear that…..men; I tell ya! I feel for you, girl! 🙂 I’m glad she’s going to be okay.

Yes Rhonda, Teriyaki and Sweet and Sour chicken rock!! BTW, JJ, I just wanted to thank you for posting my request for anyone who might of had some experience with lime disease in dogs. I know that no one could chime in, but, I wanted to thank you for putting it out there and trying anyway. I know you were trying to find answers for me and I appreciate that! Kya, (pronounced (K (eye) aahh) 🙂 ( I just had to bring that up because some people pronounce her name like KIA the Car???) anyway, has blood tests this Monday. She will be six next week on the 22nd and I am hoping for good results! Thanks again Jenny! Sometimes people just don’t have the answers and that’s o.k. with me.
Thanks again Jenny for your concern.
Sue and Kya
Sue,
I pray Kya will be ok. Keep us posted & I’m sorry you have to go through this. When our animals are sick; we’d rather just take a beating, ya know? Much love!

Thank you Tiffie! I take her for her blood work this evening after work. And Yes! I would rather take a beating than see her suffer! I will let you know and thanks again for your prayers!

It does look good, Jenny. I’m glad you finally got it perfect. I can tell you love cooking and I’m glad you keep yourself busy with what you love doing. I like Asian food and Orange-Sesame chicken is to die for. A few more favorites is Teriyaki and Sweet and Sour chicken. I also like it over rice, fried rice that is, but white rice is just as good. I can eat rice by itself, with a little butter and salt and pepper. I sometimes put broccoli in it to make it healthy…
I’m making your Roasted Tomato soup tomorrow and I can’t wait to dig in 😀
OMG!! That looks soo good! We will definately make that one too!
