There is no need to try purchasing my cookbook, which is out of print now and is also out-dated. It was published in 2006 but since then I have evolved as a cook and have simplified and improved the way I cook. All of the best recipes from the book are posted here on this website, the way I make them today, so there is no need to buy the book.
If you’re curious, the book is available as a free download. Just click here.
Hi Jenny and thank you for the recipes. I accidentally discovered your site by searching for desserts without butter, as I was out. I loved watching your show, and sometimes would think, where is Jenny now, and how is Rude Jude doing?! He was so funny, and adored you it was obvious. Thanks again and I look forward to browsing through your recipes.
Thank you so much for the free version of your cookbook! I enjoy your videos and appreciate that you throw a healthier spin on favorite recipes.
I’m heading to the kitchen to make your chocolate pudding before my milk goes bad. I’m thinking about stuffing a couple marshmallows in the center of the bowls of pudding while hot and it melts and gets gooey. Yummmy!
Jenny, I am 72 years old & thanks to you I am finally able to make great yeast bread. I’ve struggled for many years & failed! I really need your cook book. I don’t have printer. Please help me! I like to have your recipes available, easy to read when I need them. Love your humor & talent. Thanks, Linda
My old cookbook is nothing like the recipes I use today so I do not recommend looking for it. I’m a much better (and simpler) cook today and these new recipes are not in any book.
Hi Henny, yes, I watched you on TV, but I LOVE your recipes🌟 Have made quite a few and they are all delicious and easy👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Why haven’t you come out with a new cookbook??? All your updated and healthy versions???? Is it in the works?
Thank you for making me a better baker and cook! Making ur ribs this weekend for the first time. So excited. Always been afraid to make at home😬 Hope all is well 🥰🙏🏼
found you on youtube and have been using your recipes, my family loves them.
I am hearing about your recipe book and I would like to purchase one. Can you tell me where I can buy one.
Thank you kindly,
Millie
Please see my notes above about my cookbook.
Just wondering if you have done the nutrition on your recipes. I dont see any on website but maybe in your cookbook? I know you develop healthy recipes but what about diabetic. Love your recipes and website. Lots to explore during covid lockdown. Thank you
Thank you for sharing your cookbook and recipes.
Last Christmas, I gave Jenny’s Can Cook online Book to family and friends as Gifts!!!
PLEASE PUT MORE RECIPES ON YOU TUBE
I’m ecstatic to reconnected with you!!! One of my besties shared a few of your recipes with me. Not only were they easy, but so very delicious! You give new fresh meaning to comfort foods like ribs, cake and bread. Thank you for all you do-Tia
I’ve made the mac and cheese and garlic bread tonight; my teenage kids love them, especially the garlic bread as they bite into their first bite. I love how you use healthy ingredients and less butter and saturated fats. Thank you for your generosity in sharing your recipes and humor. Wish you all the best!
Hi Jenny,
I love the easiness of your recipes. I made paczki Sunday and they looked like yours but fried. I’ll bake them following your recipe next time.
Question about makowiec. I’d like to use Solo poppy seed. I love a lot of filling.
Kindly let me know when you have time.
Smacznego,
Loretta
I have never used Solo so I can’t tell you if it will work. I know it’s the only brand available but be aware that the first ingredient is corn syrup. It will never taste as good as making it fresh.
hello Jenny
I`m not computer savvy and have little patience with the internet. Could I purchase a used cookbook of yours. These recipes are great. I live in northern Ont and nowhere can I find this cookbook. Can you help? thanks
Michael.
Jenny thank you for freely sharing your recipes ?
I downloaded your cookbook.
Please put the recipe for Scrambled Eggs That Rock on the website.
My favorite egg breakfast. I have never eaten breakfast foods for other meals, except this.
Best regards
Barry
Thank You for making your recipes handy and free.
I am a new subscriber to your kitchen so just wanted to let you know.
Can I substitute ground chicken for ground beef in your meatloaf recipe?
I was just reading through your cookbook, and wanted to tell you I LOVE the note at the beginning about your photography! I love the notes about the props, lighting, and “table cloths”. Everything you write is so real and charming. I read through every photo caption in the book. My favorite is the Beets in the spider bowl! Love the web reflection on the tablecloth! I also liked the phrase “cacophony of colors” on the Rainbow Fried Rice. And the rainbow of plates for the parsnip Spice Cake is so creative! Beautiful! I enjoyed reading your photography notes very much. Do you still do all your own photography? Would love to read a blog post about how your photo style has evolved over the years.
Hi Jenny. I wanted to thank you for the free download of your cookbook, although I gladly would have paid for it in gratitude for the awesome recipes and videos I’ve been able to enjoy here and on YT. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your love of cooking. Your yellow cake, ribs, and bread recipes have been enjoyed many times over by my household.
Also, in case it helps someone else, I was unable to download the cookbook (I’m on a laptop) using Firefox, Chrome, or Opera but was able to download when I switched to the Internet Explorer web browser.
Thank you, this is good to know. It may be the lap top because I tested it on my desktop and it worked using Safari, Chrome, and Firefox.
Hi Jenny, I’m planning to have 30 family members over on Dec 16th to celebrate Christmas. do you have any suggestions for an easy menu that will satisfy everyone?
Question
Jenny, what internal temp do you use for doneness in whole wheat bread?
Just took it out of the oven and can hardly wait to slice. How long should I Wait?
Thanks, Dottie
I came across your meatloaf recipe which sounds great and will make for my husband. Listening to you, I liked your presentation and pleasant personality. Much to my surprise, when I went to read about you, it was like finding an old friend. I remember watching your show and always enjoying it. So nice to see that you are still well and have such a good heart to donate your recipe book profits. I will be back to use many of your recipes. Know that I am one who immensely enjoyed your show – God bless you?
So glad I found you!!!!! Thank you. Do you ever bake with sourdough starters? I have my for several years but am trying to incorporate starters into conventional bread recipees.
