I sent the bread thank you a few minutes ago. I am half Czech & half German, each parent has the full linage. We only know a few recipes from our dad’s Czech mother; he was the youngest of 10 hence our family the youngest grands & gran was quite elderly already. I love your Polish recipes as I fool myself into thinking they may have been similar to her recipes. I really want to try the poppy seed bread next. Goin’ in…..

    Jenny,

Can you freeze turkey? Yesterday I bought a 22 pound turkey and it is just me and my husband. What was I thinking???

    Help!
    Dayze Mae?

Ps, I made your chicken pot pie, it was so good!

Just recently discovered your online cooking videos and have been delighted with the results for bread, cabbage rolls, spare ribs. Can’t wait to do some of your other dishes. I never saw your TV show in the 90’s but my daughter does and was a fan of yours then as I am now ~ especially during these pandemic times. Your videos are next best thing to actually having you in my kitchen. THANKS JENNIE!

I just want to say, I am so happy to find your blog. I just barely found you on youtube after starting my own channel but when I looked at how long it had been since your last post, I thought the worst. Glad your still kicking some kitchen butt. Thank you so much for your generosity. I can’t wait to try some of the recipes.

As we approach Christmas I am thinking about Christmas cookies. With your Polish heritage, do you have a recipe for nut filled cookie aka kiefles. My area is heavily populated with people of a Polish heritage and this is a most liked Christmas cookie and they are delicious. Once filled they are shaped into a crescent , baked and then rolled in confectioners sugar.
I take care of an elderly gentleman of Polish descendant and would love to replicate this recipe for him. It would be the best Christmas present for him.

I thought that if you subscribe to a …Sorry I don’t know if this is a page or post or whatever it is, that there would be a subscription cost. I love this woman and her tips and her instructions! I just learned something new. About aerating the flour. This is my first time baking bread. Unfortunately, I learned it after I made the dough. I’m sure the next time I will be more educated! Thank you Jenny! …I would still donate!?
