This chili powder is not spicy at all. If you like a little spice, you can add a bit of cayenne pepper. - Jenny Jones

Homemade Chili Powder (Not Spicy)


  • 3 Tablespoons sweet paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon dried oregano leaves
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/8 teaspoon cloves


  1. Combine.

    No salt? Too flat, needs salt and pepper. Added some curry powder too.

    Made this,, this morning, added corn kernels, diced sweet potato, some hot pepper flakes, Sriracha ketchup, dry yellow mustard and some sliced cooked chicken breast, to make this a complete meal.
